Institute of Translational Physiology

Our focus is kidney function and its importance for cardiovascular control. Individual research groups act in concert to disentangle the complex relationship between systemic hemodynamics and the kidney. Moreover, light is shed on to developmental aspects. These efforts are supported by several federal grants, mainly by the German Research Foundation (e. g. CRC 1365 and FOR 1368). The various levels at which research takes place is mirrored by the broad spectrum of Journals where we publish.
